A 4% NSR on gold recovered from the Scadding tailings
Canuc Resources Corporation receives a 4% net smelter return on gold produced at the Scadding Gold Tailings (GT) Project, at the site of the tailings impound for the old Scadding Gold Mine on the East Sudbury Project.

The project
On 8 November 2022 MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd. transferred the 6.4 ha Mining Claim LEA 107735 holding the Scadding Gold Tailings Project to Environmental Tailings Corporation.
The Scadding GT Project held by Environmental Tailings Corporation is engaged in reprocessing approximately 150 thousand tonnes of gold tailings which sit in situ at the tailings impound for the old Scadding Gold Mine. There are calculated to be approximately 4,800 recoverable oz Au. As compensation for releasing the tailings impound for reprocessing, MacDonald Mines Exploration was set to receive a 4% net smelter return on gold produced.
On 8 May 2025 Canuc Resources Corp. announced the acquisition of MacDonald Mines Exploration Ltd., and with it the 4% NSR.
